Social Media's Impact on Us

       Have you ever distracted from studying for your exam and turn around and take your smartphone and check your social media? Social media has taken a big part in our life. Kids, teenagers, and young adults are the most fanatic users of social media. It is undeniable that online social media, a place we can freely create things, compare things, and share thoughts are impacting us. When using many types of social media such as social networks,instant message networks, forums, and blogs, there are both positive and negative impacts.
           It is a fact that nowadays social media plays an essential role in teenagers' lives. They spend more than an hour in social media, while connected to the internet, they will be informed what's happening in this world and what is the world's trend right now. Moreover, social media helps to strengthen a relationship even they were apart.
           On contrary, constantly playing social media could cut down times to have a face-to-face interaction. Other negative effects of social media such as cyberbullying, identity theft, misinformation, etc, are oftenly happen in social media.
     Social media clearly potrays both positive and negative impacts. It is a decision of an individual to make wheter to continue using the sites or not.

      To summarize, i will do it by answering our unit 3 Unit Question: What can we learn from success and failure? Because i think that question is can be counted as a main topic.We can learn many things if we look at both success and failure, both good and bad things.

       Our view of success , or what success mean to us will always change from time to time, like as an example, for now , what we want is doing well on exam, having much money, but when we are old, our success will change, having much energy, having much things to do, having good health, or many more.

         As we live, we always wanted to live unthreatened, and we want success for everything we do, but there's also a failure in things we do, we cannot stay succeed for everything we do in our life.

        We oftenly think that failure is always a bad or unlucky event in our life, but undoubtedly failure is a good teacher and it is necessary to happen in our life, with it we can be stronger by time to time and be more ready for another challenges. We should rise after having some failures in our life.

        I believe, in every success there is some failure in it. Like as an example, when we were old we want to have a healthy life , but have you ever think that we had already failed that , because we eat junk foods while we were young, that perspective will teach old us not to eat more junk foods, another example is like when we join an mid-term exam, we got a low score, but that will not happen if we learn by our failure. 

        There is a quotes made by Michael Jordan, which is very meaningful and encouraged me, "I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why i succeed" This quote is so true and meaningful. I summarize, that failure and success are both our teacher, failure can teach us how to be stronger to overcome them by learning and trying again and again, and success can teach us how hard it is to achieve something we really want, and that feeling after we succeed achieving it.

An ambition

Hi, my name is Widyan Muchzadi Akbar, but you can call me Widyan or Akbar, i am in first grade of senior high school, my major is Science, at first i don't know what major to pick, and what job should i take, but i have many dream job i want to take, which confused me.

But i will tell my favorite, i have an ambition to join Climatology faculty, it is a combination of a part of Science and Geography, Climatology has many purposes and sub-aspects, but in general Climatology is learning about climate, which studies about average weather condition a long duration of time.With being a climatologist, I could share benefits with uncountable amount of people, like a narrow example, researching the information of wind condition, upcoming weather, and natural phenomenon, I could be able to help,warn or even safe people.I hope i could join STMKG or a famous universty in Indonesia or even another country.

 Before i loved this faculty, i was inspired by my Geography teacher at my Junior High School, his name is Mr.Harmadi. Mr.Harmadi is a former climatologist in his early life but now he is a teacher.Mr.Harmadi is a kind,patient, and friendly teacher. The way he teach is not like another teacher did, he explained all the material so narrow but he will give even more information contained in the book if someone asked him, that makes us really want to ask to save our grades.

He oftenly tell stories about his young times, all of his life stories are so interesting, his hard times, his joy times he got from being a climatologist to give benefits to other people inspires me to become one too, even for a short period, or a long period.
